It all begins with an idea. Design is about telling a story. Amy’s story begins with a degree in Interior Design, followed by an MA in Graphic Design and Visual Communication. Now she is ready to embark on a new chapter, exploring her potential and changing the world one design at a time.

Projects
Borrowed Time, Inspired by Infinite Jest
Exploring chapter name titles in ways that can relate to our current society. Creating a 36-page magazine, talking about serious matters in a playful way. Each page invites you to go back to see the links between wording and images, following the same structure as the original book.
The Allotment, Vegan eatery within a retro supermarket
Inspired by nostalgia within design, I wanted to create a brand featuring retro mascots and packaging designs into what normally would be a standard supermarket cafe. It takes products from a supermarket and rebrands them into something more quirky and memorable, giving the protagonists a different experience when stopping for a quick meal while they shop.
Siren Song Festival, inspired by Ulysess
Focusing on the wording mentioned in episode 11 of Ulysses. Remaking the book for a modern audience in the form of a festival to celebrate Dublin’s history through music.
Loom, an app designed to support mental health through fitness.
A collaborative project, creating a campaign that rewards you through discounts and inspiration to keep track of your mental health journey during your busy everyday lives.

Working with Marriott, Victoria and Albert

Being able to work on designs within the restaurant (Chop and Plant) for Marriott.
Creating posters and Menu designs inspired by their clientele to customise them to their liking. Gaining hands-on experience, receiving positive feedback on designs, and helping me gain further confidence in the field.
